Nancy F. Stolz
Nancy F. Stolz, 76, of Holiday, Fla. (formerly of Oconomowoc), passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer at the home of her son in Hartland.
Nancy was born in Milwaukee to Mildred and Orville Farchmin. She grew up in Wauwatosa and graduated from Wauwatosa High School. Growing up, she spent many summers and weekends at the family summer home on Lower Nemahbin Lake.
Nancy attended Stephens College in Missouri and graduated in 1960. She became a stewardess for American Airlines until 1962. Nancy married James Stolz in 1962 and later purchased a home on Lower Nemahbin Lake, living there until divorcing in 1979. Nancy said she always loved the smell of leaves burning and fall was her favorite time of the year.
Her love of travel transitioned her into a career as a travel agent for AAA Travel in Florida. She received many awards for her high sales. Nancy was able to visit each continent and many exotic countries with both friends and family members.
Nancy is survived by her children, Connie (Douglas) Oates of Whitehall, Jeffrey (Michele) Stolz of Puerto Rico and James Stolz of Hartland; grandchildren, Laura, Julie and Daniel Oates, Nicolas, Lauren and Jessica Stolz, and Ryan and Eric Stolz; sister, Carol (Dick) Thomas of Florida; nephew, Richard Thomas of Florida; niece, Jennifer Warner of Georgia; and her cousin, Thomas (Penny) Harenburg of Oshkosh.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 26, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of the Flowers at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield, followed by inurnment. Friends may call from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the services.
