Gail M. Bensing (nee Reynolds), 72, of Waukesha, entered peacefully into eternal life on November 20, 2016, after a courageous battle with cancer, while surrounded by her loving family, Curt Running, and many other dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Vera Reynolds; her stepmother, Lucille Reynolds; and her two sons, Scott and Steven.

She was the best friend and loving wife of 45 years to Roger Bensing, and the loving mother of Sheryl (Randy) Young. She was the proud grandma of Troy and Jakab. She is survived by other relatives and dear friends.

Roger and Gail owned and operated Bensing Alarms and Answering Service in Waukesha until his retirement in 1986. Gail continued to work at several companies.

Gail was a proud member of the Sweet Adelines and the Red Hats. She also enjoyed traveling, music, knitting and crocheting.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 2, at Fox River Congregational Church, N34-W23575 Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, from 9 AM to 11 AM, followed by a service at 11 AM with the Rev. Lonnie Richardson officiating. A small gathering of friends and family will be held after the service. Interment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery, 605 S. Prairie Ave., Waukehsa, at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc or the Fox River Congregational Church are appreciated.
