Leona V. ‘Lee’ Jenista (nee Brunner) was reunited with her beloved husband, James, on November 18, 2016, at the age of 93.
She was the loving mother of James (Mary) of Warren, Jerry of Anchor Point, Alaska, Judith (Mike) Rintelman of East Troy and Kay (Larry) Menning of Waukesha; dearest grandmother of Kris (Joe) Kinder, Bryan (JoAnna) Menning, Leah (Nick) Walder, Ryan (Heather) Rintelman, Todd (Kelly) Rintelman and Luke (Angela) Rintelman; and great-grandmother of Brandon, Madelyn, Tessalee and Ian Rintelman, Emma and Ella Kinder, Mark and Jake Menning. Lee will be greatly missed by other relatives and many friends.
Lee was preceded in death by her siblings Clarence, Gilbert, Harvey, Edgar, Norma, Loretta and Dorothy.
Lee attended Waukesha High School. She was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. She enjoyed her neighbors on Brandybrook Road for 68 years. She taught 4-H and was a member of the Waukesha County Homemaker’s. She was an avid gardener, bird watcher and canner. Lee was a proud wife and mother and will be greatly missed.
Services were held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Reformation Lutheran Church or the Mukwonago Library are greatly appreciated.
