Ruth S. Schick, age 83, of Watertown, passed away on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Zinzendorf Hall.
Ruth Seldon Raymaker was born on February 10, 1933, in Waukesha, the daughter of Edwin and Dorothy (nee Wolfe) Raymaker. She was a 1951 graduate of Waukesha High School. She married Joseph Schick in June of 1952 in Waukesha. Joe preceded her in death in June of 1994.
Ruth had been employed at Northwestern College in Watertown. She was a sports fan, especially the Green Bay Packers. Ruth enjoyed playing cards and dice.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Joe Schick and Steven (JoAnne) Schick, all of Johnson Creek, and granddaughter, Janelle Schick.
She will be dearly missed by her sisters, Dorothy Wilton, Janet Moldenhauer, Jean (Bill) Majeskie and their families. She is further survived by brothers-in-law, Bob (Phyllis) Schick and Ed (Charlene) Schick; sister-in-law, Cecilia Boetcher; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie and Dorothy, and husband, Joe.
Ruth was very happy and comfortable with the care and compassion she was given at Zinzendorf. The family would live to convey our sincere gratitude to all of the staff at Zinzendorf and Marquardt Hospice.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 19, at 12:00 noon at Christ United Methodist Church in Watertown with the Rev. Ron Kral officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery in Johnson Creek.
Family and friends may gather at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
