Arvid ‘Rick’ ‘Tiny’ Graser

Rick Graser lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at the age of 71 years. Rick was the son of Jacob and Margaret Graser. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy and was a lifelong carpet installer. Rick owned Graser Janitorial Service.

Rick will be sadly missed by his wife, Sally, of 35 years; children, Jill (Jesse) Sykora of Waukesha, Shawn (Mindy) Graser of Mukwonago and Heather (Paul) Lecher of Waukesha; grandchildren, Nia, Nina (Ryan), Jesse, Tyler (Cassidy), Dominic, Lincoln, Henry, Ethan and Jordyn; great-grandchildren, Mercedes, Kailey and Caroline. He is further survived by siblings Marilyn Turks of Waukesha, Beverly Sweetland of Waukesha, Ken (Shinobu) Graser of Waukesha, Karen Thompson of Sullivan, Dale (Debbie) Graser of Brookfield, Jacob (Sharon) Graser of Wisconsin Dells, and Cindy (Mark) Faust of Iron Ridge; (and his brother from another mother, his special friend Ellis); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rick was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Gloria; brother, Dick and a grandson, Nate.

A visitation for Rick will be held on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha. There will be a second visitation on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 11:00 a.m. funeral service for Rick at Ascension Lutheran Church, 1415 Dopp St. Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev. Angela Khabeb will be officiating. Burial will take place at Prairie Home Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the family for a charity to be determined at a later date.
