Charles R. ‘Chuck’ Laudermilk

Charles R. “Chuck” Laudermilk of Nashotah passed away peacefully at home on January 2, 2017, following a short battle with cancer, at the age of 76.
Chuck owned and operated Parts Hut for 40 years opening his first store at 422 Lawn St., Hartland, in 1973 and moving the business to the building he built on Cardinal Lane, Hartland, in 1977. Over the years, there were a total of eight stores, including two stores in Waukesha located on Sunset Drive and Pleasant Street, an Oconomowoc location on Wisconsin Avenue, a Mukwonago location on Highway ES, a West Allis location on Highway 100, another store on South 27th Street and on the corner of Capitol Drive and Lilly Road.
Additionally, he enjoyed golfing at Kettle Moraine and Lac LaBelle golf courses. He was a longtime friend of Bill W.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 1⁄2 years, Kathleen “Kathy” (nee Cahill); his children, Michele M. (Brian) Klemmer, Kevin C. Laudermilk and Felicia A. Reichard; and his grandchildren, Jessica L., Kristin A. and Haley E. Klemmer, Brendon J. (Georigiana) and Danielle J. Reichard. He is further survived by his great grandson, Parker Charles, other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur W. and Bernice L. Laudermilk.
A gathering for family and friends will be held at the Evert-Luko Funeral Home, 170 Warren Ave., Hartland, on Saturday, January 7, from 10 a.m. until a memorial service at 12:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
