Marian E. Pfeiffer
Aug. 18, 1925 — Dec. 25, 2016

On December 25, 2016, Marian E. Pfeiffer (nee Bertelson), loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, celebrated Christmas in her Heavenly Home, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 18, 1925, the daughter of the late John and Bessie Grace Bertelson. She was a lifelong resident of Stone Bank and faithful lifelong member of Kettle Moraine Presbyterian Church. She was a wonderful homemaker who worked as an administrative assistant in an attorney’s office, was employed at the Oconomowoc Enterprise and worked at the Waukesha County Voluntary Action Center.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 72 years, Bruce Pfeiffer.

She is survived by her children, Sandra (Ben) VanKorn, Mary (Spero) Kemos, Bill (Sally) Pfeiffer, John Pfeiffer and Aimee Kondziella, and grandchildren, Jackie (Bruce) Mallow, Dan (Annie) VanKorn, Tom (Heidi) Kemos, Telly (Angela) Kemos, Nick (Kristen) Kemos, Matt (Jenny) Pfeiffer, Adam (Amanda) Pfeiffer, Angie Pfeiffer, Charles Pfeiffer and Jane Pfeiffer. She was the great-grandmother of eight and great-great-grandmother of one. She is further survived by her loving sisters-in-law Judith (the late Francis) Klink, Aileen (the late Frank) Pfeiffer and Carol (the late (Fritz) Pfeiffer, and numerous nieces, nephews and special friends too numerous to count.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, two brothers, and a grandson, Ben VanKorn.

Special thank you to the staff at Wilkinson Woods, nurse Jean Warner, Dr. Cooper, Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and all who loved Marian and made her life special.

A celebration of life was held Monday, January 2, at Kettle Moraine United Presbyterian Church, N66W32690 CR-K, Stone Bank. Interment was at the Gardens of Stone Bank, followed by a reception.
