Marian H. Ethier (nee Kaderabek), loving mother, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017, at the age of 94. She was born on November 15, 1922.
She married her husband, Theodore J. Ethier, on September 7, 1946.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Robert) Johnson of Horseshoe Bend, Ark., Mary (Steve) Richey of Santa Paula, Calif., Janette (Merle) Williams of Glen Carbon, Ill., Ruth (Paul) Roblee of Grafton, Susan (Jim) Stern of Sullivan and Paul Ethier of West Bend. She was a beloved grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, and sister to John (Julie) Kaderabek and Dorothy (Jack) Cather. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Gertrude Kaderabek; her sister Dorothy; and her husband, Ted.
Marian grew up on Villa Pines Farm in Delafield, graduated from Milwaukee County School of Nursing, and served as a nurse in the U.S. Navy in World War II. She belonged to St. Mary Help of Christians and still enjoyed getting together with grade school friends from Cushing School in Delafield. Her favorite hobbies included gardening, reading and traveling.
Visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11 AM on Thursday, February 23, at St. Mary Help of Christians, W856 Highway 18, Sullivan, WI 53178. Following the services, Marian will be laid to rest at Wood National Cemetery in Milwaukee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mary Help of Christians or a charity of choice are appreciated.
