Hildegard Egeter-Fiedler Jarvis
Hildegard Egeter-Fiedler Jarvis of Waukesha and Lansing, Kan., went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 26, 2017, at the age of 84. She was born October 25, 1932, in Külbehl, Germany.
She was an Air Force wife for 22 years until the death of her husband, who died while on active duty. She then went to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Linda, continuing the military life journey with them.
She will be sadly missed by her sons Walter (Deonna) Grumbt of Allen, Texas, and Daniel M. (Linda) Jarvis of Lansing, Kan.; and her grandchildren, Michael Grumbt and Krysta and Dryck Hernandez. She is further survived by her brother-in-law Al Jarvis, sisters-in-law Mary Alice Stone and Bernadine "Bernie" Marx, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel P. Jarvis of Waukesha; her parents, Johann and Maria Fiedler; brother, Eric Fiedler; and her sister, Gerda (Manfred) Mueller (Germany).
A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, in the Chapel of St. Joseph Cemetery, S22-W22890 Broadway, Waukesha, from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., followed by committal prayers at 10 a.m. all at the cemetery chapel. Burial will follow.
