Barbara A. Monyelle
Barbara A. Monyelle, 73, of Sullivan, passed away January 27, 2017, at Angels-Grace Hospice Center in Oconomowoc.
She was born on November 14, 1943, in Sullivan, to Adolph and Ann (Dzievit) Witt. She married Willis "Bill" Monyelle on March 30, 1991; he preceded her in death on February 8, 2002. Barbara had worked at Stoppenbach for several years. Barb worked for many years in the family business at Witts Bar & Grill in Sullivan, which was owned and operated by her parents and her brother. She and Bill also owned and operated the Wildwood Resort in Eagle River until he passed away. She enjoyed fishing and the outdoors. She loved to paint and enjoyed many craft projects.
She will be deeply missed by her family: daughter, Julie Koeppel of Helenville; son, Greg (Pam) Koeppel of Helenville; step-children, DeEtte (Chris) Banks of Indiana, Marjorie (Terry) Olson of Two Rivers and Daniel Monyelle of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Kristine (Zack) Becker, Sarah Koeppel, Tristan Haines and Jessica Haines; step-grandchildren, Craig (Brie) Sorbo, Matthew (Justina) Banks and Randy Banks; and sisters, Mildred "Bobbie" Ingersoll of Sullivan and Leonard "Butch" (Janice) Witt of Whitewater.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, February 1, at St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church in Sullivan with the Rev. Thomas Coyle and Rev. Mariadas Bekala officiating. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
Those wishing to give a donation in Barbara’s name may direct it to St. Mary Help of Christian Catholic Church, AnglesGrace Hospice, or Vince Lombardi Cancer Center in Summit.
