TOWN OF WAUKESHA|
Frieda Anna Hart (nee Nicolaus)
Frieda Anna Hart (nee Nicolaus) went home to the loving arms of her Lord on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at her Town of Waukesha home at the age of 94. Frieda was born on November 21, 1922, in New Berlin, to David and Maria Nicolaus.
She was united in marriage to her loving husband, Warren Hart, on September 9, 1950. Frieda taught the piano, loved to tutor, perform recitals, and shared her musical talent with students for 78 years. She influenced the lives of over 900 young people. Frieda was a member of the Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha, where she and her husband taught Sunday school and were actively involved with youth groups. Frieda was a devoted Christian, living her faith every day. She donated acreage from her family farm to the Waukesha County Land Conservancy. Her donation of the Nicolaus Preserve permanently protects environmentally significant land. Frieda was an avid sports fan, crossword puzzle and Sudoku enthusiast, gardener and a steward of the land. Her domestic skills were par excellence! Frieda Hart was the "salt of the earth" to those who knew her.
Frieda will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews and beloved friends in the community.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren; parents, David and Maria; and brother, Roy.
