Donald G. Lang
Donald G. Lang, age 70, of North Prairie, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2017, at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc. Don was born on February 17, 1947, in Waukesha, the son of Charles and Velma (Way) Lang.
He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in Vietnam.
Don married Christine Houk on December 15, 1979, at the First Congregational Church in Genesee. He worked for the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, retiring in 2002. Don enjoyed his many trips to the cabin up north and treasured the time he spent with his father cutting wood. Don was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.
Don is survived by his wife, Christine of North Prairie; daughter, Morgan Lang of Mukwonago; son, Jesse Lang of Waukesha; grandchildren, Mia Redenz and Bria Lang; mother, Velma Lang of Verona; sister, Hollie Stroot of Verona; and brothers, Alan Lang of North Prairie and Micky (Kelley) Lang of Palmyra.
Don is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. Don was preceded in death by his father, Charles; and his two beloved dogs, Bailey and Rudy.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
