Anita Tully of Waukesha passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017, at her home, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 63 years. She was born August 28, 1953, in Evanston, Ill., the daughter of Dave and Gloria Barry.
Anita graduated from St. Norbert College, De Pere. She was a longtime teacher’s aide at Summit View Elementary School. Anita was an active member of St. William Catholic Church and a golfer at Merrill Hills Country Club. Anita was an avid reader who enjoyed nothing more than a good book while lying in the sun.
Anita will be lovingly missed by her son, Patrick Tully; former husband and best friend, Andrew Tully; and siblings, Chip (Karen) Barry and Carol Lee Barry. She will also be fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many fabulous close friends from school, hockey moms and Merrill Hills.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents.
A visitation for Anita will be held Monday, March 13, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. A second visitation will be held at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188, on Tuesday, March 14, from 9 a.m. until 9:45 a.m., with the Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will take place privately at a later date. The family would like to thank Dr. Krouwer, the ProHealth Hospice staff, our dear Dora, and all her wonderful friends for their care and support.
