Jeff Heldorfer, 44, of Badger, died March 9, 2017 with his family at his side at the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home.
Visitation and services were Monday, March 13, at Gunderson Funeral Chapel, Fort Dodge, Iowa. Cremation followed the service.
Jeffrey Robert Heldorfer, the son of Phillip and Ann Marie (Walsh) Heldorfer, was born December 15, 1972, and raised in Bancroft, Iowa.
Jeff was a 1991 graduate of North Kossuth and also graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in Agriculture Systems Technology. On August 14, 1999, Jeff was united in marriage to Mary Schuh. To this union they were blessed with three children: Grant, Silvia and Evie.
Jeff was known as the Gator Doc, a self-employed electronic technician for ag application equipment. He was his kids’ biggest fan and enjoyed watching them play sports, especially soccer.
Survivors include his wife, Mary, and their children, Grant, Silvia and Evie, all of Badger; his parents, Phil and Ann Marie Heldorfer; his siblings, Jim (Jenni) Heldorfer of Bancroft, Iowa, and Jaclyn (Brad) Sifert of Britt, Iowa; his grandfather, Lawrence Walsh of Bancroft; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Arthur and Patricia Schuh of Waukesha; his in-laws, Tim (Linda) Schuh of Jackson; and seven nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Memorials may be directed toward the Paula J. Baber Hospice Home or Trinity Cancer Center, Fort Dodge, Iowa.
