Gerald Honeyager of Dousman passed away on March 7, 2017, at the age of 63 years. He was born August 7, 1953, in Waukesha, to Harold and Ruth Honeyager.
He married Donna Winger on Oct. 1, 1977.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife, Donna; his children, Casey (Heather) Honeyager and Cory (Sarah) Honeyager; and his grandchildren, William and Christian Thomas, and baby H on the way. Gerald is further survived by his brother James (Mary) Wilkening, his sister Jean (John) Dunne, sister-in-law Karen Schneider, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, brother Dick Wilkening and brother-in-law Gary Schneider.
As a proud member of the Sons of the American Legion, Jerry contributed to many volunteer projects throughout his life. Raising Money for the Fischer House of Wisconsin through Fin ‘N’ Feather Club’s annual Fisheree was one of his many passions. Jerry was an avid sportsman. His love for hunting and fishing was deeply instilled in his sons, and will be passed on for generations to come. Jerry was a dog lover and will be missed by his granddoggies, whom loved him dearly. Jerry was a staple in his local community and loved by many. His smiling face and sarcastic wit will be deeply missed by all.
Visiitation and services were Monday, March 13, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm- Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Legion Post 405 Dousman.
