Berle ‘Bud’ Pease
Berle "Bud" Pease, age 84, of Dousman, died at home on March 17, 2017, surrounded by his family. Berle was born on June 2, 1932, the son of late Lennie and Bonnibell (Moungey) Pease.
Berle was a graduate of Palmyra High School in 1950. He went on to serve in the Army for four years, where most of that time was spent in Japan.
He later retired from Waukesha Engine after 45 years.
Berle was a gun club member at the W.H.O. Club and attended meetings every month. He also enjoyed being outdoors, including a job he had at the Broadlands Golf Course, and also hunting and fishing.
Berle has been married to his wife, Dawn (Olson) Pease, for the past 34 years. Together they were members of the Deaf Lutheran Church of West Allis and the Waukesha County Deaf Club.
Berle was preceded in death by his parents Lennie and Bonnibell; brothers Ellis and Rynaldo; sisters Bonnie, Cliobell and Ada Jane; and daughter Diane Miller.
Berle is survived by his wife, Dawn; children, Steve Banach, Jackie Kuss and Jeffery (Rea) Flanagan; grandchildren Brenton, Braedon, Paige, Danny, Katie, Nicole and Lauren; sisters Jola Ann (Don) Buss and Sara Lee Wiegel; and nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A funeral service will take place at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Home and Crematory Mealy’s Chapel, 103 W. Eagle St., Eagle, WI 53119, on Saturday, March 25, at 2 p.m. officiated by the Rev. Duane Goetsch. A visitation will be held from 12 noon until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Berle will be laid to rest in Siloam Cemetery of Jefferson County following the funeral service.
