Mary Kuranz Campbell
Mary Kuranz Campbell died March 24, 2017 in Meridian, Idaho. Mary was born January 7, 1923, in Waukesha, to Arthur P. and Miriam (Hughes) Kuranz. She attended grade school and high school in Waukesha and attended Whitewater and Oshkosh state colleges in Wisconsin.
Mary married Charles Campbell at the Army Air Force base in Sioux Falls, S.D., on July 29, 1944. They were married for 61 years until Charles preceded her in death on November 16, 2005.
Mary lived in Edmonds, Wash., from 1962 to 1994, then moved to Eugene, Ore., where she resided until 2016 when she moved to Meridian to be nearer family.
Mary is survived by her six children: Peter, Charlie and wife Robin, Betsy Guthu and husband Steve, Mary, Susan Esary and husband Scott, and Diane Lewis and husband Jeff; 12 grandchildren: Christopher Rose Campbell, Charles Frederick Campbell, Kimberly Ann Iffland, David Mark Guthu, Aaron Andrew Campbell, Sarah Elizabeth Guthu, Katherine Joanne Campbell, Sean Campbell-Brennan, Christina Rose Flores, Neil Campbell-Brennan, Miriam Rose Lewis and Wilhelmina Lynn Esary; and two great-grandsons: Zane Campbell Iffland and Campbell Rhys Leo Flores. She is also survived by her sister Pat and her husband Art Schuh of Waukesha.
She was preceded in death by five of her six siblings: Katherine Neddersen, Joseph Kuranz, John Kuranz, Arthur Kuranz and an infant sister Anne.
A Rosary will be held at 10 a.m. with a memorial Mass following at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 31, at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 6300 N. Meridian Road, Meridian, ID.
