Robert James Hogeland Jr. passed away March 24, 2017. He was born in Waukesha on Oct. 1, 1969, to Robert James and Barbara Jean (Schaeffer).
He attended school in Waukesha through mid-junior year at Waukesha North High School. He finished school in Tomahawk. Upon graduation, he entered the U.S. Navy and served during Desert Storm. Returning to Wisconsin after his service, he went to work in the family business, V& L Tool, before continuing on with other jobs and moving to other areas of the country and into Mexico for a short while.
Rob is survived by his parents, Robert and Kathleen Hogeland of Waukesha and Barbara and Tom Lepkowski of Plover; husband, Jeff Scott-Hogeland of Kansas City; son, Christopher, of Kansas City; stepdaughter Rebecca Schlitt of Waukesha; former wife, Linda Hogeland of Waukesha; brothers Kent (Beth) of Spring Hill, Fla., Brian (Jen) of DePere, Mark (Margie) Lepkowski of Waukesha; sisters Bonnie (Larry) Gizewski of Greenfield, Laurie Hogeland of Waukesha, Amy (Scott) Sniadach of Waukesha, and Becki (Eric) Kauffmann of Olathe, Kan.; and paternal grandmother Evelyn Schedel of Ocala, Fla.; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
