Charles J. Miklos Sr.
Charles J. Miklos Sr. of Waukesha peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2017, at the age of 85 years. Charles (Charlie) was born in Wallace, Mich., on August 15, 1931, to parents Joseph and Anna Miklos.
He proudly served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War, where he was based in Germany.
Charlie met Norma Miklos (nee Lawrence), his wife of 61 years, at Pewaukee Lake. They fell in love and were married on June 4, 1955, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waukesha. Charlie was a longtime employee of Wisconsin Centrifugal. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed camping at Casey Lake near Waupaca. He was a baseball fan who played and coached in recreational leagues as a young adult. His stories were entertaining and provided many of us with a feeling of nostalgia and remembrance.

Charlie is survived by Norma Miklos, his wife; daughter Deborah Miklos (Duane) of Lillian, Ala.; son, Charles Miklos Jr. of Menomonee Falls; daughters Heidi Webster (Brad) of Collierville, Tenn., and Tracy Miklos of Waukesha; and sister, Eileen Raetz.
