Anne W. Weiss
Anne W. Weiss passed away quietly on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the age of 75.
She was the beloved wife of Edward for 50 years; dear sister of Rex (Wendy) Walden of Guilford, Conn., and Susan (John) Wieland of Atlanta, Ga. She will also be remembered by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Anne was an alderwoman for the city of Waukesha. She served on the library board. She was also an impartial hearing officer for the State Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. Anne was a member of the Waukesha Evening Lions Club and she was the recipient of one of the highest rewards, The Melvin Jones Fellowship Award.
A special thank-you to Anne’s primary physician, Dr. Simon Griesbach and all of her caregivers, especially, Latoya Walter, Amber Kuester and Stacey and Greg Opele, owners of Caring Senior Services.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 11, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 3 p.m. Private inurnment will be at Prairie Home Cemetery.
