Thomas C. Drasch Sr.
Thomas C. Drasch Sr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 17, 2017, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital at the age of 72 with his family surrounding him.
He was the loving husband of Suzanne (nee Deerr) for 52 years; beloved dad of Amy Drasch, Tina (Kevin) Pannicke and Thomas Jr. (Sharon) Drasch; proud grandfather of Dustin, Naomi, Brandon, Erika and Bradley; dear great-grandfather of Liam; loving brother of Susan (Richard) Odeja; loving brother-in-law of Paulette (James) Koeppen, Skip (Donna) Deerr, Ronald (Debra) Deerr and Daniel (Susan) Deerr; and dear uncle of Tracy
(Marc) Weber, Brian (Rebecca) Odeja, Jennifer (Mike) Sundquist, Julie Koeppen, Gail (Daryl) Pladies, James (Lisa) Koeppen, Lisa (Jason) Roter, Robin (Paul) Wakefield, Byron IV Deerr, Jerimy Deerr, Trenton Deerr, Jennifer (Kevin) Brusso, Katie (Andrew) Kress, Sarah (Brian) Grossmeyer, Rebecca (John) Lorenz, Joshua (Jamie) Deerr, Katrina (Paul) Moldenhauer and Caleb (Nicole) Deerr.
Thomas will also be missed dearly by other relatives and friends, especially his fishing buddy, Jim Muth, and his coffee buddy, Carson Davis.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Janet Drasch, and his in-laws, Byron and Lenore Deerr.
Tom retired as a lieutenant of the City of Waukesha Fire Department after 32 years. He was a truck driver for Butterfield Trucking, in addition to many other trucking companies. He also worked for his parents at Drasch’s Garden Center until it closed.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Heritage at Deer Creek for their love and concern.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 24, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 4 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 7 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
