In memory of Nina J. Dunn
Nina has been relieved of medical complications for eternal peace on Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was surrounded by her family in her final hours to say goodbye.
Nina was from the Stanley, Wisconsin area but lived in Waukesha most of her life. Throughout the years, she worked as store manager for Hopson Oil Company and Party Port Liquors. Nina’s early in life passions included bowling, dartball, cooking, sewing and cake decorating. She remained very close to her family and found great admiration of the grandchildren, who made her proud and happy. She is fairly well acknowledged throughout our community and has the proficiency of being known by her first name alone, NINA. And those who got to know her, became well comforted by her and called her Mom. She is an icon, loved and respected by many. We all will miss Nina whose reminiscences will live on endlessly and never be forgotten.
Nina was preceded in passing by her mother, Evelyn; father, Jake; and sisters Dianne, Nancy and Rochelle.
She will live on through her sons David (Heidi) Dunn and Timm (Michelle) Dunn; as well as grandchildren Anthony, Samantha and Danielle Dunn, Jamey (James) Verkuilen, Jessey Wetley; and great-granddaughter Jordyn Wetley. Nina will be missed by her sisters Pat (John) Thuis, Jackie Wynn, Roxanne Sheggeby and brothers Jeff (Lucy) Wingert, Duane (Joanne) Green. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many wonderful friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 3, from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha.
