Scott Allen Douglas
Scott "Scotty" Allen Douglas was born in Waukesha on March 27, 1962, to Robert N. Douglas Sr. and Joan C. Douglas. Scott was a lifelong resident of the Waukesha area. Scott found Eternal Peace on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, after a very long battle with diabetes.
Scott will be deeply missed by his surviving twin daughters, Nicole Ann Douglas (Mitch) and Tiffany Ann Douglas-Goodman (Kevin). He was a loving brother to Robert N. Douglas Jr. (Sandy), Pam Douglas and Deborah Douglas (Frank Concotelli). Scott was a loving uncle to Brandi L.
Douglas (Mike), Amanda and Ashley Douglas. He was a great-uncle to Jonas (Joey), a little boy who will miss his Uncle Scotty to the moon and back.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joan Douglas.
Scott was employed for many years at Rolled Threads Unlimited of Waukesha as a maintenance and operations manager. He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt. He took great pride and joy in teaching his daughters how to shoot and hunt and fish. Many family trips were taken to Lake of the Woods, Baudette, Minnesota. He loved going up north by friends and being in the woods, enjoying many friendships and tossing down a beer or two telling stories by the campfires. Scott loved to make people laugh. He always had a funny story or a quick-witted comment that would make people laugh until they cried. He leaves us with the knowledge that we will be with him again one day. He is back in the arms of his loving mother who cherished him deeply.
A celebration of Scotty’s life will be held today, June 2, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha. Visitation with family and friends will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. All are welcome. There will be a private family burial at a later date.
