Dorothy L. Hoffman (nee Mudgett) was born to eternal life and reunited with her beloved husband, Louis, on Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the age of 87.

She was the loving mother of Thomas (Pam) Hoffman, Scott (Marsha) Hoffman, Jan (Douglas) Foat, William (Candy) Hoffman, Mark (Susan) Hoffman, Lisa (Larry) Cychosz and Marybeth Hoffman; dear grandmother of Andy (Gretchen) Hoffman, Jennifer Hoffman, David (Joellen) Hoffman, Nathan (Jessica) Hoffman, Nick (Erin) Hoffman, Karissa (Kris) Harnack, Brianna Foat, Bryan Hoffman, Kyle Hoffman, Taylor Hoffman, Jonathan (Naomi) Burgess, Jeremy (Courtney) Burgess, Amanda (Justin) Keeling, Candace (Dan) Ringer, Roxanne Hoffman, Elizabeth Cychosz, Sarah Cychosz and Rebekah Cychosz; proud great-grandmother of Noah Hoffman, Miles Harnack, Bryce Hoffman, Reagan Hoffman, Nolan Hoffman, Makaylee Hoffman, Riley Hoffman and Cameron Hoffman; and dear sister of Helen (the late Tony) Norcia, Charles (Marilyn) Mudgett and Sally (Ralph) Treichel. She will also be dearly missed by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Dorothy was a loving wife for 54 years and devoted her life to her family. She was an active volunteer at St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

She also enjoyed volunteering at the Waukesha Clothes Closet and the Retzer Nature Center.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2400 Highway 59, Waukesha, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Waukesha.
