Betty J. Reetz
Betty J. Reetz of Waukesha passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 3, 2017, at the age of 70 years. She was born in Prairie Du Chien, the daughter of Wirt and Gladys Monroe.
Betty married the love of her life, Phillip "Phil" Reetz. She enjoyed crocheting and being a homemaker. Betty was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, DAV, and loved to be outside up north at the cabin with family and friends.
Betty will be sadly missed by her mother, Gladys Monroe; children, Tim
(Dawn) Reetz of Sussex, Steve Reetz of Waukesha and Debra (Tim) Wronski of West Bend; and grandchildren, Alyssa, Thea, Jasmine, Jesse and Griffin. She is further survived by a sister, Beverly (Bob) Merriman; brother, Robert (Donna) Monroe; nieces and nephews, Diana Zuege, Chuck Merriman, and Holly (Pete) Nintzel; and many other relatives and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her father, Wirt, and her husband, Phil.
A visitation for Betty will be held on Saturday, June 10, from 12 noon until the time of the 2 p.m. prayer service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
Private burial will take place.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family for a charity at a later date would be appreciated.
