Paul Garza was born to eternal life on Monday, June 12, 2017, at the age of 70.
He was the loving, devoted and cherished husband for 47 years to Carol Ann Garza (nee Nowaczyk); cherished and devoted dad of Stephanie Garza; fun-loving grandpa of Gavin and Gabriella Rose; loving and caring son of Manuela and the late Francisco Garza; wonderful brother of Isabel (Henry), Carlos (Maureen), Raul, Francisca, Robert Lee (Norma) and Teresa (Robert); and beloved brother-in-law of Joseph Nowaczyk, Mary (John) Relish and Mark (Jean) Nowaczyk. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his siblings Jose and Mariana and a nephew Nahum.
Paul served our country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He was very active in baseball, playing 25 years with the Land Oí Lakes League and four years running the Little League Program in Eagle. Paul was a huge believer in helping the less fortunate; he was always trying to help feed the hungry and cloth the homeless to name a couple. He belonged to the Dr. Charles Stanley and Joel Olsteen foundations.
A memorial gathering will be held Monday, June 19, at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. A celebration of Paulís life will be at 7 p.m.
