Will W. Krueger

Will Walter Krueger, age 92, of Waukesha, passed away June 30, 2017. He was born February 25, 1925, in Merrill, the son of William and Hattie (nee Plamann) Krueger. Will served his country as a corporal in the U.S. Army during WWII, building air strips in Japan as an aviation engineer. After service, Will attended MSOE under the G.I. Bill and studied radio and television technology where he graduated in 1953. He was a longtime member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Waukesha and was a life member of Soat-Verganz V.F.W. Post #721 in Waukesha. Will was the co-owner of Qua-Tech T.V. in Waukesha for many years. Will loved trips up north for deer hunting, fishing, four-wheeling and snowmobiling. He also enjoyed playing sheepshead, cribbage, bowling and reading his large library of Zane Grey novels.

Will is survived by his wife of 66 years, Susan (nee Stevenson) Krueger, and by children Sharon (John) Frank, Karen (Randall) McGill, Sandra (Raymond) Huston and Randy (Elizabeth) Krueger. Will is also survived by sister Janette Kurth. He is further survived by grandchildren Sarah (Tim) Walls, Andrew (Katie) Frank, Brian (Angela) McGill, Shannon (Robert) Herron, Brandon, Damien, Michael and Nathaniel Krueger and great-grandchildren Melody McGill, Sawyer Walls, Adeline Frank and Eisley Herron. Will is also survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

Visitation for Will will be held on Wednesday, July 5, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha. Further visitation will be held on Thursday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Waukesha with a funeral service following at 11 a.m. at the church.

Burial will follow the service at Prairie Home Cemetery in Waukesha with a reception to follow at the church.

The family extends a thank you and deep appreciation to Mission Creek at Waukesha and the entire staff for the love and care given to Will for 3 1/2 years. Also to Seasons Hospice & Palliative Care for providing supportive care to Will and our family during this difficult time. Will has been a member of Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church since 1957. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Willís name to Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church, 1205 S. East Ave., Waukesha, WI 53186, would be appreciated.
