Michele Cesarz RodgersMichele Cesarz Rodgers, age 50, daughter of Gerald and Mary Cesarz of Oconomowoc, passed away on July 24, 2017.

Michele fought a brief, courageous battle with a rare form of aggressive lymphatic cancer.

She quietly departed this life surrounded by family and close friends in Bozeman, Montana.

Michele is survived by her parents; sister Jacqueline (James) Hall of Oconomowoc; sister Racquel (Cory) Klumb of Bozeman; brother, Jerome (Erin) Cesarz of Waukesha; and by her six beloved nieces and nephews – Piper, Jacob, Joseph, Ellie, Cece, and Nick. She graduated from Oconomowoc High School in 1985 and spent the last 10 years living in Montana, adopting the Big Sky country as her new home and making close, dear friendships.

The family wishes to thank the courageous efforts of the staff at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., and the compassionate care of the staff at the Bozeman Lodge in Bozeman.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Michele touched are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday, Aug. 26, at the Oconomowoc Community Center, 220 W. Wisconsin Ave. – with lunch and refreshments being served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to Bozeman Health Foundation, 931 Highland Blvd., Suite 3200, Bozeman, MT 59715 in Michele’s memory.
