Earl Everett Parsons (aka “Brother”) of Tomahawk died after a lengthy illness at Ministry Health Hospital in Rhinelander on May 28, 2017. He was born on March 2, 1936, to Earl and Lillian (nee Orgas) Parsons. He joined the Air Force at a young age. Most of his life was spent working with furnaces. Earl was an avid fisherman and hunter as well as a skilled carpenter. In addition to building his beautiful home on Lake Killarney, he also carved birds and fish in his workshop.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley (nee Barton) Parsons, who loved him and cared for him for many years making sure he had everything he ever needed, and two daughters Jacqueline Parsons and Brenda Eichstaedt. He had four grandchildren, Angela, Chad, Joseph and Sam. He is further survived by his sisters Joyce Mann and Mary Parsons and brother Donald Parsons, as well as many other family and friends.
His sister, Sandra Steinman, preceded him in death.
He will be missed by all, but we know he is in heaven back with his buddies, Dick and Jack, whom he sorely missed.
