Jill M. Ladwig (nee Sikora) was an exceptional wife, mother and “Mom J” (grandmother), who carried a passion for selflessly helping others, caring for family, and spending quality time outdoors.
She was called to eternal life in the presence of her family on August 11, 2017.
She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Ken, and her children Elli, Wesley (Lauren), and Whitney Ladwig. She loved and cherished her five grandchildren Sean, Lily, Zoe, Josephina and Calliope.
She was the sister of Beth (James) Engman, Julie (Bill) Brudnicki, Gregg (Cindy) Sikora and Scott Sikora. She was the daughter of Donald and Joyce Sikora. She was a sister-inlaw to Al (Barb) Ladwig, David Ladwig, Catherine (Don) Gray, Ed (Sue) Ladwig, Mary Ladwig and John Milton (Terry) Ladwig.
Her happy outlook and compassionate approach were an inspiration to the many lives she was able to touch.
Visitation will be at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 12700 W. Howard Ave., New Berlin, on Thursday, August 17, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 7 p.m. Private interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Ice Age Trail Alliance or St. Vincent de Paul in Jill’s honor.
