Harry J. GryskeHarry J. Gryske, 67, of Green Lake, went home Monday, August 28, 2017, at Theda Care Medical Center in Neenah. He was surrounded by his family while holding his granddaughter's hand. Harry was born on January 6, 1950, in Milwaukee, the son of Alvin and Harriet (Andruczyk) Gryske.

Harry graduated from DC Everest High School in Schofield and began his career in Field Service at Envirex for Water and Wastewater Treatment, retiring after 43 years. 

Harry was united in marriage to his loving wife, Lyn Pleyte, on June 24, 1969, in Menominee, Mich. He volunteered with the Wisconsin Organ Donor Network and the Kidney Foundation of Wisconsin and was an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Harry had a passion for traveling, fishing, hunting and woodworking. His pride and joy was his granddaughter, Emily. 

Harry is survived by his wife, Lyn; son, Andrew (Shannon) Gryske; and granddaughter, Emily, all of Green Lake; two brothers, Tom (Pat) Gryske of Sobieski and Dick (Nancy) Gryske of North Prairie; one sister, Joy (Joe) Schultz of New Berlin; and his sister-in-law, Ann McAllister; special friends, Kevin Wohlers and the entire Wohlers family; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Steve.

A memorial service for Harry will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, September 3, at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon with Pastor Clay Salmela officiating. Friends and family may visit at the church on Sunday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the services.
