On August 23, 2017, God reached out to Ethan and called him home to be with him in his Kingdom in heaven. Ethan fought the good fight, battling brain cancer for 17 months. Ethan was a graduate of Oconomowoc High School, the University of Wisconsin Madison and Scholl College of Podiatry in Chicago. Ethanís love for life was found in serving his patients at his clinic at Lake Country Foot and Ankle in Pewaukee. In his life, Ethan touched many lives as both a doctor and as a friend.
He loved his children, daughter Gabriella and son Elijah. Ethan was active in coaching sports, football and softball, and loved working with kids and playing fantasy football.
He is survived by his father, Russell; mother, Linda; brother, Jacob (Kate) and their children Max, Colton, and Augie; three stepdaughters, Katelyn, Lexi, and Brooke; and granddaughter Ashlyn. He was a godfather to Makenna, Max and Savannah.
Ethan attended grade school at St. Paulís Lutheran School and was a member of St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc.
Services for Ethan will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 1, at St. Paulís Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Visitation will be Thursday, August 31, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, September 1, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., also at St. Paulís Lutheran Church.
