John Vasquez
April 23, 1951 – Aug. 27, 2017

John Vasquez John Vasquez began his journey into heaven on Sunday, August 27, 2017, at the age of 66.

He was the beloved husband of Irma (nee Lara) for 44 loyal, loving years and the devoted father of Tiana (Chad) Hingiss and John Vinino (Sarah) Vasquez.

He will forever watch over his grandchildren who he adored, Elena Soledad Hingiss and Cole Aaron Hingiss. He leaves behind his mother, Juanita Hernandez, and rejoices with his father Vinino Vasquez. He also reunites with his brothers, Frank Hernandez and Benny Jr. Vasquez. His brother and sisters he will continue to shine upon Rick (Christine) Vasquez, Lena (Greg) Tiri and Christina (Herman) McKenzie. John will also be missed by many nieces and nephews in Wisconsin, California, Texas and a niece and nephew in England. He also has extended family he held close to his heart and will forever watch upon on them. John was a lifetime resident of Waukesha and developed many lifelong friendships.

John retired from AT&T after 32 years of service and meeting many loyal friends.

He then continued his career with GE Healthcare for approximately 12 years while again developing many meaningful friendships. John was a positive figure amongst all who knew him especially his children’s closest friends and beyond. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.

A memorial visitation will be held at Church and Chapel Funeral Home, 380 Bluemound Road (at highways J and JJ, four blocks south of Interstate 94), Waukesha, and will begin at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, September 5, with a memorial service beginning at 6 p.m. A private burial will follow at a later date.

The family would also like to extend a very heart felt thank you to Dr. Saadati and his team at Pro-Health UW-Cancer Center for all their expertise and dedication to John’s fight.
