Therese Ann Sullivan
Dec. 24, 1955 — Aug. 22, 2017
Therese Ann (Meyer) Sullivan, 61, passed into heaven Tuesday, August 22, 2017, in Jacksonville, Florida. Terri was born in Milwaukee, and spent her life bringing love and joy to everyone she met.
She married her college sweetheart, David Sullivan, and was blessed with two children, Peter and Crystell. Terri’s children were her proudest accomplishments, but her two granddaughters brought her the greatest joy.
Terri was a longtime employee at Quad/Graphics in customer development and support. She loved to read, cook, hike, enjoy nature, but most of all, she cherished spending time with family. She was steadfast in her faith and love for Jesus. She was always determined to bring out the best in any situation. Above anything else, she loved sitting on the floor with her granddaughters reading books and playing endlessly. Terri was a friend to all she met and her smile would brighten any room. She was a loyal wife, devoted mother and loving grandmother.
She was preceded into heaven by her mother, Geraldine “Gerri” (Blaskowski) Meyer, and father, Eugene “Gene” Meyer.
She leaves behind her husband of 39 years, David; son, Peter Sullivan and wife Sharleen; daughter, Crystell Sullivan; granddaughters, Julianna and Isabella; brother, Dave Meyer and wife, Diane; sister, Debbi O’Brien and husband, Mark; along with nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church, 3160 S. 63rd St., Milwaukee, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, September 23, followed by Mass at 10:30 a.m. Following the service, the family will receive friends and family for a Celebration of Terri’s Life. She will be buried in her hometown of Chapin, S.C., and a private service will be held on Saturday, September 16.
Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation to advance research for a disease close to Terri’s heart.
