William D. ‘Bill’ McElwee

William D. “Bill” McElwee of Waukesha died peacefully on Friday, Sept. 8, 2017, at the age of 88. Bill graduated from Iowa State University, served in the Army with the Corps of Engineers, worked as a city engineer, regional planner and private engineering consultant.

Bill will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary (nee Theissen) of 64 years; children, Shaun, Riley Anne (Bob) Ebert, Christopher (Joyce), Mara (Randy) Kieser and Kathleen (Rick) Stevens.

He is further survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

A visitation for Bill will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14, 2017, from 9:30 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with the memorials Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. Rev.

Leonard Barbian will be officiating. The burial will be private.
