Duane B. Calton

Duane B. Calton, lifelong resident of Waukesha, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017, at the age of 86 years. He was the son of James and Elsie Calton.

Duane was a proud United States Army veteran. He married the love of his life, Donna Luer, in May of 1959. They have been longtime members of St. William Catholic Church. Duane worked at Harrison Lumber as a tally man for over 20 years. He was a lifelong bowler, he enjoyed going up north to fish and hunt, and was a darn good cribbage player. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Duane will be sadly missed by his wife, Donna, of 58 years; son, Brad (Sue) Calton; grandchildren, Ryan Calton and Dustin Calton; great-granddaughter, Charlotte; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Arneth Calton.

A visitation for Duane will be held on Thursday, September, 14, from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m., with a memorial Mass at 4 p.m. at St. William Catholic Church, 440 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188. The Rev. Harry Buzbuzian will be officiating. Military honors will be held following the Mass. The inurnment will take place privately at Wisconsin Memorial Park, Brookfield.
