James C. Sheehan Sr.

James C. Sheehan Sr. of Pewaukee passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2017, at the age of 80 years. He was born in the Town of Lisbon to James J. and Ottila (nee Metz) Sheehan on September 3, 1937.
Jim will be dearly missed by his beloved wife of 57 years, Faye (nee Rellatz), his children Brian (Jen Troyer), Jennifer (Ed) Martens, Debra (Robert) Young, Vickie (Greg) Dickinson and Kevin Sheehan. He was the proud grandfather of Danielle Sheehan, Brittany (Megan) McNally, Michael (Hanna) Gonzales, Matthew Martens, Brandi and Dylan Dickinson; special great-grandfather of Michael E. Gonzales III; and fond brother of Agnes Becker, Lorraine (Bob) Orgas and David (Barb) Sheehan. He is further survived many special relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, James Jr., and sisters, Joan Saari and Janet Gerbenskey.
Jim was proud to serve his country in the United States Army. He worked for the Halquist Stone Co. for over 41 years before retiring and was a member of Teamsters Union Local 695.
Jim loved to walk and bike the streets and roadways of Pewaukee. He enjoyed Land O’Lakes Baseball and especially Thursday morning breakfast at George Webb’s with his Best Buddy Leo Gross.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 5, at Queen of Apostles Catholic Church, N35-W23360 W. Capitol Drive, Pewaukee. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 W. Capitol Drive, Brookfield. Please meet at the cemetery.
