Oliver J. ‘Jack’ Beaudoin
July 27, 1925 — Oct. 23, 2017

Oliver J. “Jack” Beaudoin, age 92, of Tomahawk, passed away on Monday, October 23, 2017, at Riverview Health Services under the care of Aseracare Hospice.

Oliver was born July 27, 1925, in Iron Mountain, Mich., to the late Oliver and Frieda (Scopici) Beaudoin. He was married to Helen Gudeyon in 1944; she passed in 1976. He later married Geraldine Tojek in 1980; she passed in 2011.

Jack entered the U.S. Navy serving from 1944 to 1946. After the military, Jack’s 42-year machinist career began at Industrial Clutch located in Waukesha. He was proud of his work ethic and well respected by his co-workers who became his longtime friends. After retirement, Jack and Geraldine enjoyed wintering in Florida partaking in card clubs, bowling, playing shuffleboard, visiting flea markets, rummage sales and antique shows. In his earlier years, he was an avid beekeeper, hunter, and angler. Not a trout opener was missed. His love for the outdoors was evident when he built his log cabin, always making improvements and upgrades over the years. He spent hours making firewood, putzing on motors, and driving old logging roads with his family searching for unchartered berry patches and taking in the scenery.

Survivors include two sons, Oliver (Garnett) Beaudoin and Richard (Linda) Beaudoin; one daughter, Patricia (James) Unger; and two sisters, Janet (Robert) Kenney and Sylvia Cammomilli. Jack is further survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Frieda; his first wife, Helen; and his second wife, Geraldine.

The Oliver (Jack) Beaudoin Memorial Scholarship is being established at the Waukesha County Technical College. Donations will be forwarded in Jack’s memory.
