James Donald Schrader

James Donald Schrader of Oconomowoc passed away on November 4, 2017, at the age of 67 years. He was born April 19, 1950, in Watertown, to Donald A. Schrader and Jeanette L. Wagnitz.

James was a machine operator at Bimbo Bakeries (Brownberry Ovens). He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, spending time with family, attending grandchildren’s sporting events, and was a member of the NRA.

James is survived by his children Michelle (Todd) Tremaine, Megan (Jason) Jacobs and James Schrader II. He is also survived by his three grandchildren, Tanner and Jaden Tremaine and Vincent Jacobs, as well as his sister Catherine Papen. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

James was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Connie Reimer.

Friends may visit today, November 9, from 5 p.m. until the time of a prayer service at 7 p.m. at the Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc, and again on Friday from 11 a.m. until the time of a memorial Mass at 12 p.m. at St. Catherine of Alexandria Catholic Church in Mapleton. Burial service will be private.

Memorials may be given in James’ name to the Oconomowoc Food Pantry or the Oconomowoc Sports Booster Club.
