Joyce was a multifaceted person. She loved gardening, camping with her family, crossword puzzles, keeping up on politics, and having been born and raised in Green Bay, Joyce was an avid Packers fan; she “bled” green and gold. She was a lover of art, being an accomplished artist in her own right. She was a lover of great literature and an avid reader. She played a mean game of bridge and Scrabble. She loved to cook, often treating her children to wonderfully tasty chili, fabulous spaghetti sauce and amazing lemon meringue pie. But most of all she was a loving wife and mother, cherished sister and devoted friend — living and loving her gift of life by continually enriching the lives of all those around her.
