Alvin J. and Susan L. Wolter Alvin passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at the age of 75. Susan passed away the following day on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, at the age of 72.

Al was a lifelong resident of Oconomowoc and worked for many years as a meat cutter at Sentry Foods. He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing softball. Al was known for his generous spirit and cared for many. His grandchildren were the light of his life and spending time with the Local 427 Menís Club brought a smile to his face.

Susan was a lifelong resident of Oconomowoc as well and worked for many years as a sales manager in the photography industry. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and watching sports. Sue was known for her fun-loving spirit and kindness of heart. She enjoyed lunching with friends and spending time with her grandchildren.

Al and Sue recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They enjoyed many special times along the way, especially their annual Florida trip with their family. Their love was so special that Sue followed Al to heaven the day after he passed. Together forever.

They are survived by their children, Wendy (Mo) Sallam and Jennifer (Don) Lemke, and their grandchildren Amina, Mackenzie, Zayna and Melayna. On Alvinís side of the family, he is survived by his siblings Delaine Cibik, Darlene (Cliff) King, Nancy Wolter, Judy (Bert) Mueller, Lou Ann Wolter, Jerry Wolter and Sally (Dick) Heinen; the Local 427 Menís Club; and his furry friend Reggie. On Susanís side of the family, she is survived by her sister Patricia (Roger) Gartzke; her nephew Michael Gartzke; and her niece Cheri (Chris) Moldenhauer. They are further survived by other relatives and friends.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Orvilla; his brother Sonny; and his brother-in-law Ernie Cibik. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Mary Lessner.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Procare Plus for their loving care to Sue in recent months.

Visitation was held from 3 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 6 p.m. on Monday, December 4, at the Schmidt & Bartelt Notbohm-Kreutzmann Funeral Home, 121 S. Cross St., Oconomowoc. There was a toast to Al and Sue at the VFW Post following the service with a light supper.
