Betty V. Thomas Betty V. Thomas (nee Vallier) passed away in Oconomowoc at the age of 95. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irene (Lindstrom) and Elijah Vallier; her brother Raymond (Margie) Vallier; her dear husband of 60 years, Donald Edward; and her beloved daughter Mary Lee Thomas Marshall (Burney).

She is survived by her daughter Betty Jo (Charles) Van Patten; her son Donald Harold Thomas (Kim); her daughter-in-law Crystal Thomas; grandchildren Michael (Nicole) Van Patten, Loren (Ellen) Van Patten, Cody (Sarah) Thomas and Corey (Stephanie) Thomas; 11 great-grandchildren; and nieces Jeanne Lange (Bill) and Sue Lawler (Dennis).

Betty graduated from Wauwatosa High School and the University of Wisconsin, and returned to Wisconsin in 1983.

Betty was a member of Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, a devoted Christian, serving our Lord throughout her life in prayer, study, world missions, philanthropy and education. She was a 55year member of PEO and Alpha Chi Omega and cherished time with friends and family. Betty was always thankful for her blessings and was a blessing to all. She will be forever loved and missed.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, December 28, followed by the 11 a.m. worship service at Jerusalem Presbyterian Church, 207 Main St., Wales, WI 53183. Celebration of life to follow at Oconomowoc Lake Club.
