Beverly Ann Hockett (nee Peck)
Beverly Ann Hockett (nee Peck), a loving mother, sister, grandmother and friend, has gone to be with her Lord Jesus after a lengthy battle with a blood disorder and a post-surgery infection acquired after a October 2017 back surgery. Beverly passed in peace surrounded by family at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Beverly will be remembered as a loving mother by her sons Brian, Mark and Richard Henderson, and her daughter, Kristy Lynn Hockett; a loving grandmother by Thomas B. Henderson, Lauren and Jamie Henderson, Marcus Henderson and Johnathan Disselhoff; a loving sister by Carolynn Brink (nee Peck), brother, David Peck; and as a loving and caring friend by many who remember her fondly.
Beverly was a longtime native and Pewaukee resident, an employee at the old Sentry Food Store Deli Department, and a lifetime professional waitress who was known by all her loyal customers as a loving and dedicated server who knew just how to put a smile on their face.
Beverly was also a longtime resident in the following communities over the course of her life: 1939 to 1975 (Pewaukee); 1975-76 (Wautoma); 1976-1984 (McFarlandI); and 1984-2004 (Orlando, Fla.) when she moved back to Waukesha after her Florida home was destroyed in Hurricane Charlie.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, Jan. 12, 2017, at Yonke & Son Funeral Home, 205 Prospect Ave., Pewaukee. The Rev. Brian T. Henderson, pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church, San Diego, Calif., of the Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod, PSW District, will officiate. Interment will be at the Pewaukee Cemetery with a light lunch at Yonke & Son to follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Beverly’s name to Angels-Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
