Lee E. Hamilton
Lee E. Hamilton, 82, of Oconomowoc, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, January 11, 2018. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Kathy, of 59 years; his children Lori Lee (the Rev. Thomas) Degnitz and Lisa Lynn (William) Riemer; his grandchildren Sarah Elizabeth Degnitz, Emily Ann Degnitz, Bradley Alan Riemer and 1st Lt. Karla Christine Riemer; and many more family and friends.
Lee worked for Chicago Northwestern Railroad for 42 years and he was a 32nd degree Mason and a Shriner. He was an Army specialist for the U.S. Army. Lee was an active member for the Episcopal church, a leader for the Boy Scouts of America, a volunteer at Mission Hospital in Texas, and a manager for an R.V. park in Texas.
Services will be held on Friday, January 19, at Zion Episcopal Church, 135 Rockwell St., Oconomowoc, at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Burial will take place this summer at Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at AngelsGrace Hospice in Oconomowoc and Three Pillars Masonic Home in Dousman for the loving care shown to Lee over the years.
