Anna Sineath, known as “Oma,” beloved wife of Jim Sineath, passed away February 19, 2018, at the age of 76 in the company of her beloved family.
With a zest for life and love of family, Anna “Oma” lit up the room with her grace, wit and charm wherever she went. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and sewing all while being actively involved with the Rheinischer Verein German Club and German Fest. After 40 years of hard work as a travel agent, she retired and devoted her remaining years to her family and living life to the fullest. She married James “Jim” Sineath on May 6, 1990, and was previously married to Walter Gemeinhardt for 26 years. While she had no children of her own, she enriched the lives of all her stepchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and her sister, Trudy (Larry) Miller, lavishing love with common sense to all.
She was preceded her in death are her parents, Adolf and Marie Vetterman; brother, Rudy Vetterman Sr.; and nephew, Randy Vetterman.
The visitation for Oma will be held from 1 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday February 24, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 Moreland Blvd. The Rev. Keith Perry will be officiating. Burial will be private.
