Charles J. Brink |
Dec. 14, 1951 — Feb. 7, 2018
Charlie Brink, age 66, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, after a long battle with cancer.
Charlie is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie; his son Michael (Joylynn) Brink; his grandson Tyler Kobussen; and granddaughter EmmaLee Brink. Charlie is further survived by his brother Phillip (Annie) Brink and sister Margaret Arent, along with many family and friends who are too numerous to mention.
Charlie loved his family and spent countless hours with his grandchildren, who were his greatest joy. His love of music was known by anyone who spent time with him. He loved our ’68 Barracuda that he spent much time in and enjoyed many hours with so many of us. His garden, which he tended and even though the harvest was low and the time spent was abundant brought him happiness. His dedication to Matt Kenseth was ongoing and as Matt has moved on as well, Sunday will never be the same.
Our house was always open to so many and the memories are amazing and comforting.
A special thanks to Dr. Gilberto Rodrigues and his staff; the doctors and staff of St. Luke’s; and all the family and friends who have been such a comfort during this time.
A celebration of life will be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home, 1165 E. Summit Ave., Oconomowoc, on February 24 from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., with a service starting at 3 p.m.
