Keith H. Rupple
June 11, 1932 — Feb. 21, 2018

Keith H. Rupple of Waukesha passed away on February 21, 2018, at the age of 85 years. He was born on June 11, 1932, the son of Raymond and Murl (nee Hills) Rupple. Keith went to Randall School and had a Freeman paper route, worked as a caddy at Merrill Hills Golf Course and loved Buchner Park. Keith was a supporter of the Blackshirts at Waukesha High School. In 1957, he married the love of his life, Betty (nee Gennrich). Keith continued his schooling at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and at the Graduate School of Banking. He proudly served his country in the United States Army in Korea.

Keith worked for the Waukesha State Bank for 37 years and was offered great access to the wonderful Waukesha community. For six years, Keith served on the Waukesha School Board, served as president of the Waukesha Jaycees, Optimist Club, Waukesha YMCA, Family Service, Waukesha County Mental Health Association and the Waukesha Training Center. He was also a member of the board of the Waukesha Community Foundation and the chair of the Annual United Way campaign. Keith and Betty enjoyed the Waukesha Civic Theatre as well as participating in New York theatre trips, and he traveled with Elderhostell. He loved baseball, golfing everywhere and traveling to Door County.

Keith will be deeply missed by his wife of 61 years, Betty; children, Keith “Kip” (Roni Kramer) Rupple Jr. of Waukesha, Beth (James) Daleo of Crystal Lake, Paul Rupple of Waukesha, Jody (Christopher) Lowe of Wauwatosa; seven grandchildren, Machia, Gavin (Ashley) , Gina, Matthew, Benjamin , Rachel and Lucas; two great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Audriana; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and wonderful friends. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Brenton (Betty Lou) Rupple.

The visitation for Keith will be held on Tuesday, February 28, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 12 noon, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188.

In lieu of flowers memorials will be appreciated to The Waukesha Community Foundation, 2727 N. Grandview Blvd., #301, Waukesha, WI 53188.
