Colleen V. “Coke” Alwin of Waukesha died on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at the age of 81. She was born in Pukwana, South Dakota, on August 11, 1936, the daughter of the late Ralph and Eva Healy.

Coke married Leroy Alwin on June 10, 1983. During her working years Coke worked as an administrative assistant for various employers, the most recent being Edward Jones. She enjoyed reading, cooking, baking and she was an excellent seamstress, who excelled at sewing homemade quilts and blankets. Coke especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor.

Coke will be dearly missed by her husband, Lee; children, Lynne (Jim) Knapp, Patricia Campos, Wendy (Tom) Trupke and John (Kelly) Tice; stepchildren, Kathy (Mike) Kosednar and Paul (Carla) Alwin; grandchildren, Eric (Chris), Kelly, Christine, Amy, Sarah, Tonya, Jesse, Casey, Damian, Allison (Will), Paul, Hailey, Randy and Connor; step-grandchildren, Sean and Sarah; many great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Healy; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Coke was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald; parents; and sister, Gwyneth.

The memorial visitation for Coke will be held from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Monday, March 12, at the Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, WI 53188.
