Albert G. Gillard
Albert G. Gillard, 68, of Campbellsport, went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Monday, Dec. 5, 2005 at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home.
He was born Feb. 2, 1937 in Owen to Chester G. and Mary L. (Culp) Gillard.
On Feb. 14, 1959 Albert married his beloved wife of 46 years, Shirley Copland, at St. Mark’s Church in Peterborough, England.
He served in the U.S. Air Force as an air policeman from 1954 until 1962.
Albert worked as a machinist at Weasler Engineering in West Bend for 39 years until his retirement.
He was a member of Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church in Camp-bellsport where he and members of family sang in the choir for many years.
Albert enjoyed computers, video photography, camping, traveling in the U.S. and England and other activities with his family.
His family and spending time with them were very important to Albert.
He was a much loved husband, son and father.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley; his mother, Mary Gillard of Campbellsport; his children, Claire (Duane) Cina of Viola, Lorna (Christopher) Hargarten of Reeseville, Kerry (Pedro) Lozano of Milwaukee, Lynnette (Phillip) Phillips of Elkhorn and Brian (Melissa) Gillard of Montagne, N.J.; his grandchildren, Ezra, Rebecca and Elizabeth Cina, Rachel Miller, Tyler Hargarten, Seth and Ethan Lozano, Ali, Luke and Kyle Phillips and Devin, Brittany, Brianna and Brooke Gillard; his mother-in-law, Vera Bibey of England; his brothers- and sisters-in-law, Wendy Moore, Edward Bibey, Colin Bibey, Geoffrey Bibey, Janet Henderson and Roy Bibey, all of England, as well as other relatives and friends.
Preceding him in death were his father and three brothers, Lawrence, Larry and James.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 10 at 1:30 p.m. at Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, Campbellsport.
Rev. Paul A. Cerny will officiate and burial will follow in Union Cemetery in Campbells-port.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
