Myrtle K. Ripple
Myrtle K. Ripple nee Burckardt, of West Bend died on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005 at SynergyHealth St. Joseph;s Hospital at the age of 89.
She was born on July 10, 1916 in West Bend to the late Kenneth "Deck" and Marie (nee Witteman) Burckardt. She attended Holy Angels School, the West Bend High School and graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee.
After her marriage to Herbert Ripple on July 10, 1937 in Milwaukee, the couple settled at Wallace Lake where she lived up to the time of her death.
Myrtle loved gardening, baking, especially cookies, and was very involved in activities at her church
Survivors include four children, Mary Gundrum, Ralph (Tracy), Jane (Joseph) Kreis and Bob (Kathie); 10 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Louise Pfeifer of West Bend; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 15, 1997; one daughter, Christine; one brother and one sister.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Father Michael Moran as the presider. Burial will be at Holy Angels Cemetery. Visitation at the church only will be on Monday from 4-6:45 p.m.
If desired, memorials may be given to St. Mary’s Immaculate Conception Church.
